The Good Money Guide
The Good Money Guide was created by The Alliance for Community Development to help entrepreneurs find the right capital to support their businesses. The guide clarifies the features of different types of funding, and offers expert tips for seeking capital.

Founded in 1999, The Alliance for Community Development is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting investment in low-income Bay Area communities and increasing access to capital for underrepresented entrepreneurs including but not limited to women, People of Color, immigrants, and veterans. Alliance’s Navigation Program provides under-resourced entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay Area with individualized, one-on-one support to help them clarify their goals, address their challenges, and sustain their businesses. Each entrepreneur receives individual sessions, a ‘resource Roadmap’ matched to their goals,support with any research needsthey face, and a set of warm introductions to organizations, individuals, and funders. Alliance follows up with each entrepreneur to track their progress and provide continuoussupport. Additionally, the publishing of their Good Money Guide is used to create educational opportunities for entrepreneurs seeking capital.
